About

Agatha Brandão de Oliveira is a lawyer admitted to practice in Brazil and Portugal, working at the intersection of private international law, international arbitration and cross-border contracts. She completed her PhD at the University of Lucerne, where her current research explores choice of law and legal technology — including the development of a large language model for analysing Swiss choice-of-law cases.

This site brings together the different strands of her work: a CV tracing her path from the Federal University of Espírito Santo and Sciences Po to Lucerne, publications with presses such as Oxford University Press, Brill and Bloomsbury, and her recent talks, conferences and moot courts around the world.
